What is a Sandwich?

A commonly debated question is, what exactly is a sandwich? Would you call a burger a sandwich, or a hot-dog? In accordance with the dictionary, a sandwich is an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread with meat, cheese, or other filling between them, eaten as a light meal.
